            Music is important and music videos some times helps to get an idea of how somebody is touch by the lyrics or sounds. There is a popular channel that airs videos MTV, this channel has not change his logo for years, and the only thing that they change is the design around the logo with different textures. However this logo is now part of some or everybody’s lives because who is not familiarize with this channel.

What do you think about this MTV logo designs? Do you think that they have to reinvented the logo or make it different?

Swimwear

            Speedo is a brand, which some swimmers get and also is the most popular swimwear. The advertizing that this brand has it has a different meaning between the swimmers. Sometimes this messages has not meaning for some people that not everybody gets it and people that are not in the swimming community some times does not like the Speedo advertising.

For me there are a message and this message is power under the water.

ANV logo

When I was a little girl I used to be in a swimming team, at that time the logo of the corporation used to make sense to me. After several years with the same logo the corporation decided to change it corporation, the logo looks like this:

In my opinion I like the first logo of course it need to get some work to be a good logo but in these logo you can differentiate the letters of the corporation. However, the other one is a little more difficult and of course. Maybe a combination of the logos could come something different.

What do you thing, which one is a better logo?

Pictures

            Pictures are a very good way to put our memories together, there are some part of our life that are so special that we just need to have it in a photo album. Some people just buy a photo album and put the pictures inside, others do scrapbooking. However, there are some photographers that do all the work for you they decorate your pictures with different themes and you just put them together in a photo album. The photographer Adele Enersen makes a good work in the pictures by drawing on the picture, it give a different touch to the pictures.

Billboards

Billboards are a very good way to advertize products for the reason that everybody can see the on their way and also they can be able to see them every day. Exist a lot of types of billboard designs some are very good, but some of them are very distracted. In my opinion some billboards needs to be well thinking or they are going to cause accidents, for example;

TV shows

There are two television shows that have the same format; I am talking about Dancing with the stars and Mira Quien Baila (look who is dancing). Looking at the logo which one will you watch of course if we forget about the language? 

 Take a look to these logos and choose the one that you like. Both has sparkels and the name of the program, but there are differences that make your decision lead towards the best logo. 

Posters

Music is a big part of our life, make us forget a little about the world, some times this music has a big impact that we become a fan of a certain artist, and when a concert come near to us we want to be part of the tour. Certainly advertisement is a very important role for us to let us know about the event.

            The design of a poster says a lot of the event, and the artist. This has to have flow with the color and has to be either simple or with a lot of things going on and this depending on every artist

For example; Michael Jackson Poster is attractive with the colors that they used and it has the right amount of information for the public to like it.

Cars

Cars, who does not have a dream car? Everybody has it and this is happening thank to the ads. Car ads makes you desire the brands of the car because that gives you society status. These ads are creating depending of the type of car or the type of consumers that that creative team want to approach, is the car create for a professional, student, who is going to be approach by the ad.

            The car that makes me want it is the Lexus besides that this brand is elegant. The ads invite you to want the car with the simplicity but elegance of the advertisements.

Shoe ad

In the market there are a variety of advertisement some of it are impressive and others not that much. However the goal of the ads is to sell something to the public, which with the years become more demanding in the things that they watch or look in the ads. For example shoe ads this some of this are very creative some of them makes you think about the meaning of the ad. The massage that the designer give to the public some times has to be very straight in order for them to get the idea o just to make them bye the product.

            This ad does not need explanation about it with just a look to the ad you can know what is the meaning of the advertisement.

TV show logos

          Logos are an artistic way to recognize something either a brand, name, TV show, etc. logos can defined generations according to the time that these were air. This time lest talk about the TV shows logos, those that make us remember part of our timeline in our life. One of the logos that come to my memory right now is the Save by the Bell logo, if a take a look at the logo of this TV series memories of my childhood come to my head and also some of the scenes of the program. Also, I remember that this logo was colorful and with a big letters, everybody from that generation can relate on how with the color, the pattern, and typography.

community involved

It is important to involved young people onto arts, because for young generations it is getting difficult to get them interesting in something cultural, or the idea of understand art does not like them. Genaro Gacia had some student of Cesar Chavez Community School helping with all the process of the mural in honor of Cesar Chavez. That way getting them to know the purpose of a piece of art keep them interesting and involved in arts. Artist has to think in a future but they have to keep in mind that the viewer or customer it is getting too difficult to attract.

     Talking about Super Bowl, this event has a lot of logos these depending of the state where the venue is located, some of them make a great effort on creating these logos or maybe because of the time that these where create.  Every logo has something in common are colorful and with a wide typography. Either way people get the feeling of football. I my opinion the logo of Super Bowl XXXIV is a best one because it looks like a 3D and in the middles they represent a goal. The next creative people have a good challenge in order to keep improving the Super Bowl logo.

           TV commercials some times are not good that makes people change the channel as soon as they start. There are different kind of commercials some of them has a good special effects, other are too simple, some jingles get into your head for a few hours. Some of these commercial get artist on them, some are very expensive and others people just dot remember them. However there is always one day that everybody watch any kind of commercials, either to enjoy them, or critic them. These commercial are the ones in the Super Bowl. There are so many of them that it is hard to chose one.

movie art time

           As in every design there is always a good one and a not that good. If we talk about movie posters there is always going to be a favorite for us. This poster of The Dark Night I really think is a good poster, the reason that I like it is because it is not telling nothing about the movie and gives you a feeling of suspense, because the only thing that you can really see are the typography in the poster, and the logo of batman on the bottom of the posters, in the background is blur joker, and that makes you get the feeling of watching the movie.

          There are moments in life when I ask what happen to music throughout the years. We can notice a music evolution in music that not everybody is not pleased with it but culture make us get kid of use to it. However, not only music has change if you take a look back in the days, people bought albums because of the cover some artists had meaning in their covers, but now because of technology it seems that art on covers is not that important any more.

A logo has to communicate something and it has to make the customer comfortable in this case to wear it. The 2012 Olympics’ logo has a meaning, but no everybody understands the meaning. There are some speculations about it this goes from conspiracy, secret society, religious etc. I think the 2012 Olympics’ logo it is hard to understand because of the abstract image. This logo instead of inspire people it get them confuse.The main question is, What the creator was trying to communicate?

bad advertising in spanish

Have you notice that some advertising in Spanish does not grave the attention of the public. The logos or ads that some companies use for the Hispanic community are not as “fancy” as the ones in English. I don’t know why people don’t spend more money or time in their advertizing. Is does not matter who is their target it is important to have a good logo for people to trust a brand or company. This is what we see on tv for car sales.

what do you thing about the difference in adverting between english and spanish ads?

Out there some stores are getting creative shopping bags to bring people into their stores. Some of the designs are very creative and appropriate for everybody, but not all of them are appropriate to carry them around the streets. These design are different and unique in their designs and themes, for example; sports, cars, etc. in my opinion these are a very good way from the stores to get people attention because probably most of the people is going to buy something in these stores in order to get one of these creative bags.

up side down

         Apple has made a lot of changes in their logo during the years. However the best change that they could make was to put the apple in the right position on the computers, because the logo was up side down, because it was weird to have a computer open and the apple logo was up side down. I think apple should make the computer’s logo in a way that when a person close the computer the logo is in the right position, and when the devise is open it should change the position of it. In other words a logo that moves depending on the position of the devise.

Creative Logo

Google has a very good way to attract users to the web page not only because of the information that people can get from them. During the past two year Google has creating animations that they give to their home page. This doodle are related to different events around the world, some times users does not understand them, and they have to click on the doodle to know more about it. This doodle has animations, music and games; this doodles depend on the celebrations or special events around the glove. I think users enjoy more this doodles while in Olympics because everybody has a chance to play different sports.
